In spring of 2014, Kennedy Investments formed a new investment holding company to acquire Lincoln Gardens, a 75,000 office park next door to Orange Grove Commerce Park, a longtime Kennedy Investments holding and managed property. The Busch Boulevard/Carrollwood corridor has historically been a strong office sub-market for Kennedy Investments, and the contraction of the regional economy over the past several years created an opportunity to expand its investors’ holdings there.
Kennedy Investments will be making a significant capital investment into the newly acquired park and upgrading it over the next couple of years with improvements that will transform the appearance and appeal of the property’s 13 stand alone buildings. In addition the facelift, the park is being re-branded “Twin Lakes Office Park” and will begin offering fresh office spaces configurable to tenants’ needs ranging from a few hundred to several thousand square feet or more.
