Kennedy Investments is pleased to report that construction is well under way and the building is taking shape at the Celebration Self-Storage Facility KI Florida Fund I invested in last fall. As of early June, the third floor was poured, interior framing was mostly complete, and electrical, mechanical and other infrastructure work was in full swing.
The construction management team and crews are working diligently to get roof trusses in and begin drying the building in by the end of June. Population growth and development continues at a rapid pace in Celebration, especially with the Mattamy Homes’ announcement of their plans to build more than a thousand new homes in the community in 2019. Demand for climate controlled self-storage among residents and businesses in Celebration remains strong, and we’re looking forward to getting into the lease-up phase soon.
