Director of Asset Management
Chris Leandri is a Clearwater native with extensive experience across asset management, financial analysis and underwriting, property management, and leasing within both publicly traded REITs and privately held real estate firms. He joined Kennedy Investments in 2021, bringing an institutional background and hands-on operating experience across retail, office, and single-tenant assets.
Prior to Kennedy Investments, Chris served as an Asset Management Associate at Spirit Realty Capital, a publicly traded REIT with a multi-billion-dollar national portfolio focused on single-tenant net lease assets. His responsibilities included lease restructurings, acquisitions, and dispositions across the portfolio.
Earlier in his career, Chris was a Property Manager with Brixmor Property Group, a publicly traded retail REIT operating millions of square feet nationwide. There, he managed more than 2.9M square feet of open-air retail centers across Florida and led the Southeastern United States in ancillary leasing transactions.
Chris began his career at Wildwood Realty as the Leasing & Property Management Director. Over the course of his career, he has overseen more than 800 transactions including leases, acquisitions, and dispositions.
Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Real Estate with a Certificate of Eminence in General Management from Florida State University and is a licensed Florida real estate sales associate. He currently oversees assets across the full investment lifecycle for Kennedy Investments, from acquisition underwriting and due diligence through leasing, asset and property management, and dispositions. Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, Carolina, their daughter, Sofia, and their dog, Luna.
