Kennedy Investments is committed to doing everything we can to ensure the health and well-being of our tenants, their employees and visitors at the properties we manage. We want to keep you informed about what steps Kennedy Investments’ plans if community spread of the novel coronavirus known as COVID-19 occurs in the Tampa Bay area.
Kennedy Investments plans to take extra measures, including frequent sanitation of common areas in buildings and asking tenants to call or email rather than visit our offices in person. The following actions are designed to help keep our tenants, employees, visitors, and communities safe.
Staying Home if Ill
Kennedy Investments has instructed all staff who are ill, or have an ill family member, not to come to work until they have been symptom-free for at least five days. We hope our tenants will implement similar safeguards for their own employees. We ask that if any of our tenants’ employees or employee family members test positive for COVID-19 that they notify Kennedy Investments so we may begin to implement sanitation protocols for the premise as well as notify other tenants so that proper safety precautions can be taken. We will keep all personal health information confidential but will need to have this information to keep tenants safe.
Social distancing
In the event of community spread of COVID-19 in Tampa, Kennedy Investments will implement a policy of reducing person-to-person contact by asking staff whose jobs enable them to perform their work online from home to do so. Kennedy Investments will postpone non-essential meetings and encouraging staff to conduct meetings as much as possible by telephone or online. We will monitor all government recommendations for reducing community spread of the virus and will implement protocols at our commercial properties, as needed.
Sanitation
Kennedy Investments has instructed staff on additional personal sanitation practices to ensure they are not transferring viruses to themselves or others. The spread of COVID-19 is a public health issue. To stay informed or ask questions, you should contact:
